Relax. I'll handle Bowser and his army. There's a weapon store on a nearby hill. I'll take cover there. Have someone get Mario while I take out as many enemies as I can.
Stay here and look out for incoming enemies.
Tutorial
Use the mouse to target enemies.Click on the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to fire your weapon

Press the A key to switch to your next weaponPress the Q key to switch to your previous weaponYou can also use the numbers 1 through 5 to switchweapons.
Switching Weapons
Skip This
Below is an Icon that appears on the left side of the screenevery time you switch weapons. A silhouette will be showninside of it after you buy a weapon. The red bar on the rightindicates the remaining ammo for that weapon.
The ammo indicator looks like thisIt is located on the top left of the screen and shows yourselected weapon's ammo.
Press the S key to switch to your next ItemPress the W key to switch to your previous ItemPress the SPACEBAR to use the current item
Switching Items in your Inventory
Your inventory shows your current item and looks like thisThere are four types of items. The first two are bombs and mines. When one of these is selected and you pressSPACEBAR the bomb or mine will fall from your crosshairto the ground.
0The last two items in your inventory are turrets. The 1stis the ground mounted turret. If you select this item, a transparent turret will be shown onthe ground and will follow the mouse position. If you movethe mouse to the right of the screen the turret will point tothe right and visa versa. Once you picked a spot pressthe SPACEBAR to plant the turret.The castle-mounted turrets behave the same. The onlydifference is that you can place the turret along the wall ofthe castle. Pick a side and a height and press SPACEBAR
For performance purposes you can only have a maximumof four turrets at a time. After a turret takes enough damageor runs out of ammo it will self destruct.Also, You can't place more than six mines at a time. Waitfor a few to explode and then keep adding.

Your objective is to defend the castle. Your mines and turrets don't damage the castle, but your gun does(Note than in easy mode you can't damage the castle at all).The castle gauge looks like thisThe castle can be repaired and even strengthened in theweapon shop.

You can pause the game by pressing P You can only pause while in combat and not while inthe weapon shop.In the pause menu you can change the game settings likethe graphics, sound, music, and even remap the controlsThere is also button to the main menu in case you want tostart over

Here is where you buy your weapons. Use the coinsthat you collect from the enemies to buy new weaponsor repair the castle.Place the mouse over an item in the weapon shopto see a description. Click on that item to buy it.Buy your weapons wisely
