Bonus hits, activated by the spacebar during flight, fire a soccer ball at the blue player, giving him an additional boost of amazing speed and height.  Use strategically to bolster your distance.

Getting the ++ under the "Bonus Hits" sub-tree gives the player more balls to propel greater distances.

Stuff the ref.  Don't let him slow you down.  This upgrade significantly reduces the amount of slowdown caused when a referee is hit.

The "bigger players" upgrade significantly increases the power of your own team mates on the field.

Power upgrades increase both the speed of the initial headbutt, and also increases the maximum horizontal speed (terminal velocity) of the blue player.

Header places a new friendly player on the field.  When the blue player runs into a "header", the swift vertical motion takes away some horizontal speed, but gives significant air time.

Bicycle kicks aren't as powerful as regular kickers horizontally, but they do give more vertical speed.

Goalies are expensive, and don't show up nearly as frequently as the other players.  However they hit with the same intensity as a header and a kicker simultaneously!
